Jud Lake, DMin, ThD, is a Research Professor of Theology and Professor Emeritus in the School of Religion at Southern Adventist University, where he taught for 28 years.
He received his Doctor of Ministry degree in Practical Theology from Reformed Theological Seminary in 1994, and received his Doctor of Theology degree in Homiletical Methodology from University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika.
He has written numerous articles for journals and magazines such as Ministry Magazine and Journal of the Adventist Theological Society, and has authored three books:
- Ellen White Under Fire: Identifying the Mistakes of Her Critics (2010)
- A Nation in God’s Hands: Ellen White and the Civil War (2017)
- The Ellen G. White Pocket Dictionary (coauthored with Michael W. Campbell, PhD, 2018)
Today, he enjoys more opportunities to travel and he continues to be involved in special projects, specializing in biblical interpretation, preaching, Christian worldview, Ellen G. White studies, Adventist theology, and Adventist history.
